Cedar Door, based in Derbyshire, have been making solid timber garage doors for over 20 years. They produce numerous styles of door complementing properties of all types, both new and old.
All doors are made-to-measure at no extra cost. The up and over Cedar Doors are available from 6ft to 18ft in width and the side hinged from 6ft to 10ft in width. Most doors are retractable, but canopy mechanism is available on doors up to 8ft wide.
All Cedar Door products are manufactured from the highest quality Western Red Cedar, which is attractive, strong, light and naturally rot resistant - the ideal timber for a garage door.

Cedar Door have various distinct ranges;
1. Traditional Boarded and Traditional Solid Panelled - Traditional morticed and tenoned solid cedar frame into which is bonded either tongue and grooved cedar boarding or 20mm thick solid cedar panelling. Certain models in this range are available with an inbuilt wicket door.
2. Traditional Panelled - Again, a solid morticed and tenoned frame, infilled with 9mm plywood panels.
3. Traditional Side Hinged - Cedar Door is one of the very few garage door manufacturers who produce a very high quality made-to-measure side hinged range of garage doors. Available from 6ft to 10ft in width. Come complete with a choice of ironmongery.
4. Sherwood Range - These doors are constructed from a black powder-coated aluminium boundary frame with steel bracings to reinforce the panel, making it strong and stable. An economical way to buy a timber door. A fine, black, metal edge is visible around the edge of the door, when viewed from the front.
5. Sectional - A high quality made-to-measure product. Traditional quality door construction, combined with the security and reliability of a sectional door mechanism.
Cedar Doors come with Sikkens basecoat as standard, but can come bare, if requested. Also available is a fully finished option - one of 9 colours can be chosen. This then makes the door maintenance free for up to 5 years.
